The E-BED project aims to develop a smart bed for the care of frail individuals, integrating contactless sensors, artificial intelligence, and Cloud connectivity for continuous monitoring of vital parameters and sleep status.

The objective is to ensure dignity, safety, and well-being for patients, reducing direct intervention by healthcare operators and supporting caregivers and family members in daily management. The system, designed with a domestic aesthetic and accessible voice interfaces, represents a central technological hub for personalized care, both in clinical and home settings.

Developed in collaboration with technological and healthcare partners, E-BED is based on an Open Innovation model and is configured as an advanced solution based on the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT).

This project was approved for funding under the PR FESR 2021-2027 – AXIS 1 – SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE 1.1 – ACTION 1.1.1 – Call “RICERCA E SVILUPPO PER INNOVARE LE MARCHE” – Incentives for companies for industrial research and experimental development activities within the areas of the Regional Strategy for Smart Specialization
