Innovation in the olive oil production supply chain: A new household olive oil production machine

Regional Law No. 2 of 4 February 2022, Regional Government Resolution No. 631 of 30 May 2022 – for the implementation of Network Projects aimed at strengthening supply chains, pursuant to Article 5 of Regional Law No. 2 of 4 February 2022 – ERDF 2021–2027, MARCHE ERDF Programme 2021–2027 – PRIORITY 1 – SO 1.3 – Enhancing the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and job creation in SMEs, including through productive investments. Action 1.3.1 – Support for projects aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of supply chains. Measure 1.3.1.1.

The investment plan approved for funding aims to introduce product innovation within the olive oil production supply chain at both regional (Marche) and national levels. The investments are intended to bring an innovative concept with a significant impact on the supply chain to industrial production: the design of a machine for the domestic production of extra virgin olive oil. The initiative involves three SMEs based in the Marche region.

The investment programme developed in collaboration with the partner companies (Innoliving S.p.A., Domenico Ricci S.r.l. and AM Microsystem) has enabled the development of a project that places a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability and product innovation, while ensuring quality and efficiency.
